Perfectly comfortable and excellent location on next visit to the area, easy to get anywhere.

No elevator.

It has good facilities and convenient location by the Sacramento river.

They had a sheet of paper with a variety of restaurants listed with phone numbers and distances from the hotel.

The breakfast was off site and it was a 5 minute drive from the hotel. The staff at the restaurant was quite slow - so it took a lot longer than we had planned.

Staff and rooms are very good here, had a such great stay on our next road trip. The staff are accommodating and courteous and we loved their attitude. The location is convenient and ideal, 1 mile from a gift shop. Affordable hotel set in the nice enough area. The restaurant serves tasty local food.

The hotel's website indicated that breakfast was included in the room rate and was on-site. Upon arrival, we were given a voucher for breakfast at a restaurant a few miles away from the hotel or we could redeem the voucher at the hotel for a breakfast grab bag. I was very disappointed that we would have to take the time to drive out of our way for breakfast. We chose the grab bag which was adequate, but was not a breakfast I would have chosen. I would not stay in this hotel again for that reason..

I was told over the internet when reserving 2 rooms that they would be connected. They weren't connected.

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds. The "Free" breakfast at the Lumberjack was excellent as was the service. Would eat there again.

Cramped bathroom facilities, minature TV and had to leave the facilities to have the "free" breakfast.

Rooms are well appointed and pet-friendly.

Close to family at a good price

We need ground floor because my wife's leg hurts but the staff cannot find one.

Very Impressed for a low price hotel! Room was so clean, nice comfortable bed, and clean linens! Will return on my travels during the year as I pass through Redding.

Had a really nice young woman at desk, who was pleasant, helpful & efficient. Wish I had gotten her name.

Clean room, friendly staff, with the refrigerator being particularly helpful for storing drinks and snacks .

I really liked the following...Location. Plenty of space. Safe. Good facilities. The value was excellent booked through Booked.net. Comfortable. There was Wifi and a fridge at no extra cost or hassle. Good parking. Good location. Clean. Breakfast vouchers for a very good breakfast though it was a bit of a drive to get to. Generous coffee making could make more than 1 cup at a time. Overall very good, especially for the money.

Only one hassle, though it was quite significant. The shower was very difficult to set the temperature, and when it seemed ok, it kept fluctuating from too hot to cold. This was particularly a problem at peak times which implied that there was a central hot water system rather than individual cylinders for each unit. This was quite an annoyance and is the only thing that would stop us going back. We will visit Redding again and I would ask a specific question about whether it has been fixed before staying at the Travelodge again.

Fairly close to family home. Had good reviews on-line. It was crowded but still quiet.

In a bit of a barren setting....no trees.
